Archana graduated with high honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 2005, with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. She spent the next several years learning the art of wedding and special occasion cakes at one of the premier cake shops in Manhattan.
After having worked in restaurant pastry kitchens, production bakeries, and catering halls, Archana finally came back to her true passion- creating beautiful and delicious cakes. For the past year, she has been honing her skills and developing her own artistic vision at Sweet Melissa Patisserie in Brooklyn, NY.
Archana’s designs are modern, graphic, and one-of-a-kind. She focuses on textures and color contrasts to create something completely unique and suited to each client and occasion.
