Fashion magazine Verve has selected India’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2009.
The magazine chooses 50 powerful women excelling in various fields, but of course entertainment chiefly catches our eye. Featured celebrities on the list include Kareena Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, and Priyanka Chopra.
But dominating all these women collectively is the younger Mrs. Bachchan, who tops the list at #1!
Not surprisingly, since the fiercely talented beauty continues to outshine her much younger competition. Choosing diverse roles and tackling a variety of tough subjects, at age 36, Ash has maintained her position of distinction, elegance, and…verve among Bollywood’s fickle crowd.
