Salman to Bhansali: You are dead to me!

- Apparently, Salman Khan has no Partner in Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The actor and director have enjoyed a professional relationship since Salman starred in Bhansali’s directorial debut Khamoshi in 1996, and then the opulent hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanaam in 1999. Salman even accommodated a guest appearance in Saawariya despite his busy schedule, because he was assured the two would team up later for a more substantial venture. This was supposed to be a remake of Christopher Nolan’s gripping period drama The Prestige, about rival magicians who go too far in one-upping each other.
But it was recently discovered that Bhansali offered the role to Hritik “Akbar” Roshan! This appeared to be a snub to Salman, who was subsequently infuriated and has vowed never work with the Devdas director again!
So there seems to be no such thing as “frenemies” in Bollywood. If you hate someone, you make it known and you don’t hesitate to slander the person in public.
Also, there are TWO leads in The Prestige, maybe Salman could be one and Hritik could be the other? When I first heard of this, I substituted the words “blatant copy” for “remake”. First Memento, now this. Is no Christopher Nolan movie safe from the claws of Bollywood?

Salman is a loser. Bollywood needs to stop copying.
