Bridal Shower Gifts

The bridal shower is a traditional celebration which allows friends and family a chance to show their affection by “showering” the bride with gifts. The shower can be held at any time (generally no earlier than two months prior to the wedding), and a few days prior to the wedding is very convenient if the bridesmaids live out of town.
Your could have a bridal shower at someone’s house, Women’s club, country club, restaurant, garden or an apartment clubhouse.
Anyone who wants to host the shower can; traditionally it is hosted by the maid of honor or the bridesmaids together. The hostess sets the limit on the number of the guests since she will be paying the bill. In general, no one should be invited to the shower who has not been invited to the wedding.
